The treatment is keratin based, Keratin is the primary protein of the skin, hair and nails. This natural substance gives hair the ability to return to its original healthy, shinny, smooth state. Unlike other products available in the market, such as relaxers or Japanese Thermal Conditioning, the Keratin Treatment straightens the hair without damaging or changing its texture. The treatment can be use in all hair types, including chemically treated hair (colored, perm, relaxed, highlighted and bleached).

The Keratin Treatment is also knows as Brazilian Keratin Treatment, Brazilian Straightening System, Progressive Straightening, Brazilian Blowout and Escova Progressive among others.

The results last two to four months and the treatment fade progressively as hair is washed. Yes. For better results we recommend only after you color your hair.

Yes. You can do the Treatment over any previously relaxed hair.

5. Can you do the Keratin Treatment on highlighted hair?
Yes. You can do the highlights and do the Keratin Treatment right after.

6. Can you do the Keratin Treatment on children, if yes, what ages?
Yes. We recommend on children 6 and over.

7. Can I color my hair and do the Keratin Treatment?
Yes. We recommend you color the hair first.

8. Can I color my hair after the Keratin Treatment?
Yes. We recommend doing so only 2 weeks after you have done the Keratin Treatment.

9. Can I wash my hair after the Keratin Treatment, and when?
Yes.

10. How long will the Keratin Treatment stay on my hair?
2 months on virgin hair, and 3-4 months on any other type of hair.

11. What shampoo can I use after doing the Keratin Treatment?
We recommend shampoo that does not contain Sodium Chloride (sulfate-free)

12. Do I have to do touch-ups on my next visit or the whole head?
The whole head.

13. When should I have the Keratin Treatment done again?
3 months or as needed.

14. Can I do the Keratin Treatment while pregnant or nursing?
It is NOT recommended by the Health Department.
